There are paper Manuals on eBay likewise every bit CD versions.
I do 3 flavors of Shop Manuals
1) PDF Version on the Smartphone - allows me to instantly search, screen shot, text, email, share, etc
2) Pristine Original Bookshelf Version - for reading and perusing with clean easily from the office.
3) What I call an "Ultimate Workbench Companion" - this is 1 that is consummate, pages are in good condition, only was coming apart at the binding and has been transferred to articulate protective sleeves and placed in a large 3 ring notebook. That mode you tin remove the pages as needed and have right at that place as your work with greasy easily and all and exercise not have to piece of work about getting the pages muddy. Simply wipe the protective sleeve clean and place dorsum in the notebook when finished. This also makes scanning original individual pages easier since y'all can remove the page from the sleeve, scan and return. These are besides the Shop Manuals yous can often find for $xv to $20 on eBay and this is a nifty style to repurpose them and requite them a 2nd life.
For more info on making your own "Ultimate Workbench Companion" with visuals bank check out this commodity on the 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter Help Page: http://6364cadillac.ning.com/profiles/blogs/store-manuals-create-the-ultimate-workbench-companion
So.. the quaternary type of Shop Transmission out there that I have no use for, is the paper reprints. They do not have the detailed resolution of the originals which makes looking at wiring schematics, and other small print difficult at all-time.
